The Seaside Heights Beach Patrol, led by Captain Doug Parise, provides lifeguards, and The Seaside Heights Beach Control, led by Isabella DeLuca, is responsible for beach badges and wristbands.

Paid beach is in effect weekends beginning Memorial Day Weekend and every day beginning mid June through Labor Day.
EVERY PAID BEACH DAY IN 2011 IS THE SAME LOW PRICE OF ONLY FIVE DOLLARS PER DAY!
Beach admission for all children up to and including 11 years old is FREE.
Seasonal Badges may be purchased at:
Borough Hall, 901 Boulevard at the Corner of Sherman Avenue – Mon. thru Fri.- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from January 1st to Labor Day.
Seasonal Beach Badges are also available at the Kearney Avenue Beach Control Headquarters weekends in April & May. After mid June, when the Kearney Avenue Beach Control Building Opens Full-Time, they can be also purchased there between the hours of 9:30 a.m.and 3:30 p.m. every day, unless we are closed for inclement weather.
A LIFETIME SENIOR CITIZEN VIP BEACH BADGE IS AVAILABLE FOR $10.00, BUT CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED AT THE BOROUGH HALL. The Borough Clerk or Deputy Clerk will take a photo for the badge and you must be at least 65 years old to qualify.

Lifeguards are on duty all hours that the beach is opened. No swimming is allowed after the lifeguards are off duty. STAY OUT, STAY ALIVE!
SEASIDE HEIGHTS CONTINUES TO BE THE MOST ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE FAMILY BEACH EXPERIENCE IN NEW JERSEY! Many free public restrooms are located along the boardwalk at Webster, Kearney and Hiering Avenues. Additionally, there are cold showers available at all ramps to rinse off.
For a small fee indoor hot showers, lockers, and other accessories are available at Hiering Avenue and the Boardwalk through a private entity. Changing is available for a small fee as well.
REMEMBER, CHANGING IN VEHICLES OR IN THE PUBLIC RESTROOMS IS A VIOLATION OF BOROUGH ORDINANCE #154-2, AND IS PUNISHABLE BY A FINE OF UP TO $1,250.00, AND NOBODY WANTS THAT!
Kites, Kayaks, Ball Playing, Frisbee throwing and related recreational activities that could inconvenience fellow beach-goers, are generally prohibited when the beaches are open. However, you are invited to make use of our beaches for these purposes before 9 a.m. or after 6 p.m. and even during regular hours subject to the discretion of the Lifeguard Captain.
Beach umbrellas, lounge chairs, and inflatable rafts are available from privately operated concessions along the beach and boardwalk.
Our Surf Chair program provides beach access wheelchairs available at no charge. Call Lifeguard Headquarters (732) 793-4646 during any operational day to make arrangements.
