Coronavirus Pandemic Local Information

The George E. Tompkins Municipal Complex will be closed to the public Monday through Friday through the end of June.  To the extent the weather allows we will meet with people that have appointments outside in an tented area adjacent to the employee entrance on the Boulevard side of the building. People wishing to make an appointment will be asked the following questions at the time the appointment is made and again when appearing for the appointment. 1. Are you or anyone in your household experiencing flu-like symptoms, such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath?  2. In the last 14 days have you traveled to a high-risk area for transmission of COVID-19?  3. Have you been in close contact with someone confirmed or is being evaluated for COVID-19?  To schedule an appointment please call 732-793-9100.

Playground, basketball court and tennis court are closed.

Planning Board meetings scheduled for March, April, May and June are cancelled.  At such time as Governor Murphy increases the 10 person limit on indoors gatherings we will re-examine the Planning Board schedule and make an announcement for July.

All Municipal Court sessions are cancelled through the end of June except as provided for Zoom court sessions. Please visit the Municipal Court webpage for additional information.

We encourage the public to utilize online payment options for taxes and utility payments or pay via check by mail. A drop box is available in the foyer of the main entrance on Sherman Avenue.

Shutoffs for delinquent electric and water/sewer account are suspended through the end of June.      

We encourage the public to use the Report It app (code enforcement complaints);  VIPLY app (season beach badge sales); and Recycle Coach app (trash and recycling schedule). The apps are available from the Google Play and Apple App stores.You can also access these platforms from your desktop computers.

Senior bus service and events are cancelled through the end of August.

Community Center scheduled events and meetings are cancelled through the end of June.
