MONDAY NIGHT CONCERTS

The popular Free Monday Night Concert Series at the Hiering Avenue Ocean Front Stage in Seaside Heights continues July and August 2006. The series begins Monday July 3rd, and ends Monday August 28th  with all concerts beginning at 7 p.m. Concert-goers will be seated on the beach, so please bring your own beach chair, beach blanket, snacks, etc. NO GLASS OR ALCOHOL.  (If rain, concerts will held at the Beachcomber, Dupont Avenue and The Boardwalk) The following are the scheduled acts.

July 3rd:    Amethyst sings Totally Awesome 80’s tribute
July 10th : B-Streets sings Bruce Springsteen Tribute
July 17th: American Hawk sings tribute to acts like The Beatles,
                 Dire Straits, Jimmy Buffet and more.
July 24th: Exit 105 sings tribute to acts like John Cougar,
                 Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and more.
July 31st: Dreamers sing tribute to acts like Pink Floyd, Sinatra,
                 Led Zeppelin, Neil Diamond and more.
August 7th: Slippery When Wet sings Bon Jovi cover
August 14th: Den-Mar Duo sings tribute to acts like Sinatra,
                Tony Bennett, Elvis, The Shirelles
August 21st: Men In Black sing tribute to Johnny Cash.
August 28th:  Joe Bonnano and The Godsons of Soul

Free Thursday Night Movies on The Beach will be introduced for the Summer of 2006 at the Hiering Avenue Ocean Front Stage in Seaside Heights during the months of July and August. The movies will begin Thursday July 6th, and  will end Thursday August 31st.   All movies begin at dusk, which will be progressively earlier as the summer goes on. Movie-goers will be seated on the beach, so please bring your own beach chair, beach blanket, snacks, etc. NO GLASS OR ALCOHOL. (If rain, concerts will held at the Seaside Heights Community Center, Hancock Avenue and Bay Blvd )  Please note the ratings for the following scheduled films:

July 6th:  Go back to the 80’s with Sixteen Candles, rated PG, 
                starring Molly Ringwald.
July 13th: Time for summer camp horror on Thursday the 13th
                 with Friday the 13th, rated R.
July 20th: 80’s teen angst continues with The Breakfast Club,
                rated R, starring Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald,
                Anthony Michael Hall.
July 27th:  No burglar is safe when Macaulay Culkin is
                 Home Alone, rated PG.
August 3rd: Just when you thought it was safe to go back into
                 the water, Jaws, Rated R.
August 10th:  Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis in
                Freaky Friday, rated PG.
August 17th: Come with me, and you’ll  be in a world of pure imagination
                with Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, starring
               Gene Wilder, rated G.
August 24th: Early 80’s Bad Taste with John Water’s Polyester,
              Rated R.
August 31st: Tale as old as time with Disney’s Beauty and The Beast,
             Rated G
