Duties


Pursuant to NJ.S.A. 40A:9-136 and Section 5-3 of the Borough Code, the governing body established the office of Borough Administrator to serve as chief administrative officer of Seaside Heights and to administer the borough's business affairs. The Borough Administrator prepares and administers the annual budget, enforces employee policies and procedures, administers human resources including NJ Civil Service requirements, prepares Borough Council meeting agendas, and coordinates the production of major special events. In addition, the Borough Administrator supervises all heads of departments and directs the implementation of all policies, ordinances, rules and regulations as adopted by the Borough Council.
